The advisers aim to foster intellectual growth and to help students navigate the complexities of the dual curriculum. General advisers assist students as they transition to college, explore the general curriculum and identify personal interests and goals.Once students have declared a major, they also meet with faculty major advisers. Major advisers work with Yeshiva College students as they plan out the major and help them to identify extracurricular and professional opportunities that complement and build on their chosen fields of study. Sy Syms students who have declared a major meet with the Sy Syms senior adviser. Overall, our mission is to help students realize their full academic potential and to assist students as they achieve their academic and professional goals.
