On June 10, 2021, Dr. Laurie Blackman, assisted by doctoral student Annette Clarke-Jones, led a virtual panel discussion hosted by the Association of Caribbean Social Work Educators titled 鈥淩eimaging Grief and Loss in a Pandemic: Aging, Caring and Bereavement.鈥
The Panel of American and Caribbean social work scholars presented research and insights into grief and loss experiences of older adults, caregiving challenges and ways to overcome adversity during the pandemic.
