Dear Friends:
Not only does June mark the start of summer, it also allows us to welcome the class of 2024 into the esteemed ranks of YU alumni. Brachim Haba'im!
For those of you whom I haven't yet met, I'm Beth Lebenson Praver, the Director of Alumni Engagement.
To our newest grads, welcome to the 70,000-plus strong YU alumni community! While you were a YU student for three or four years, you’ll be a YU alum forever — and that comes with amazing benefits.
YU has alumni around the globe, in communities from New York to California to Israel. YU alumni work in fields ranging from finance to entertainment to education to medicine, and they come together with each other and the university to learn, attend social events, network, and grow professionally and personally.
To get started, I encourage you to , sign up for affinity groups that interest you, , and attend the YU Young Alumni Summer Social at Tabernacle Steak House (complimentary when you ).
And perhaps most importantly, reach out and say hello. My staff and I are always available to you, and we can't wait to see what you'll do next.
Please enjoy the newsletter below. It's a monthly roundup alumni receive to keep abreast of upcoming YU events.

Past events
- The Class of 1974 50-year Reunion was a big hit! The alumni marched in academic attire as part of YU’s 93rd Commencement on Wednesday, May 29, at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens. It was a remarkable day, even by YU standards, and brought home directly and clearly the centrality of YU to the Jewish community, where we fly the Israeli flag every day of the year and students live a full Jewish life without fear or intimidation.
Please from the reunion, and these video recaps from commencement, one on , one in Israel, and one of ’s remarkable address.
