Jill (Citron) Katz teaches archaeology and anthropology at Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ with a specialty in biblical archaeology.
Jill Katz has excavated at several sites in Israel, including Ashkelon, Tel Haror/Gerar, Tell es-Safi/Gath, and most recently at Jerusalem's Ophel. Her research interests focus on the relationship between Canaanites, Philistines, and Israelites in the Land of Israel during the Bronze and Iron Ages. Throughout the years, she has brought dozens of Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ students with her to excavate in Israel.
